file editing no longer works

afrer a 2 months break I returned to this game and wanting to have some fun I decided to edit save file to make some interesting scenario for campaign as I used to do. here is how I do it:
convert desired save to json -> close the game -> go to this site where I edit what I want  -> put the edited json back to save folder, making sure I replace the old one -> launch the game

this always worked but now even if I manually click convert to .bin nothing happens
