In short, my DDs dont generate any strike missions, nor sinking transports via turn window. In other hand, my old TBs from 1900 +/- sometime generate mission. They have 100% fuel and most time bigget power projection, because Germany most time send immediately ships in my waters. My DDs stay there more than 1 year of war. Some time, i wiggle them arround, but it has no effect. Similiar situation here. Around 60-70% fuel, but nothing happpen...Like in Baltic/North Sea. Now situation on West Indian ocean. Here i have about 8 ships, 3 TB, 2 CL, 3 DD. Tbs have about 20 recon, abysmal range, old torpedos, old guns and hand on hearth, if they go in real battle against trasnports from this time/tech advance, they propably score 1 lucky kill with torps but get sinked prety fast. DDs have 37 recon, CL aroung 50. They are all build on idea of good recon/good range. But only TBs generate strike mission and propably sometime sink transports via turn window. Now my home waters, Yellow Sea and East Sea, Very similiar situation here, only TBs sinking transports. But this time, the TBs are realy from 1890 and have 20 Knot max speed... And another one thing is different. Somewhat enemy ships who travel all around world, many times have low fuel, can sink my transports. I speak about BB,CA,CL,DD....like even solo BBs with recon 15 somewhat can sqeeze my defence and next turn i get massage about sinking trasports. Its not every time, but happen. Sometime some enemy ships (IDK about classes) spawn under blockade/my naval invasion fleet what contain 160K tons and mannage sinking transports too.. So, first qestion is, what is wrong with my DDs/CLs so they dont start strike/sink transports ? Second question/answer is - most important stat about this missions looks like ship signature ? Because recon is good, range is good, fuel is good and power projection looks like dont have any great effect - if have, it dont have big effect on my side. Third question is, if its not all bugged mes, its good game design be in situation like this? And fourth, sorry for my terrible englisch 😥 . I hope idea of this post is comprehensible. Nick Thomadis Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 Hello, can you please send an in-game report? In general, the recon value of nearby fleets should matter. If your destroyers operate at sea with enemy fleets having very high recon values, you will most likely not get any offensive missions (except meeting missions against enemy fleets which are near). Having cruisers in your task forces, will ensure in most cases to have effective recon level and generation of missions.
Welwet Posted January 12, 2024 Author Posted January 12, 2024 I send it as bug report, i hope you mean this. But almost every ships has better recon than my old TBs..😀 ok, maybe some BBs not..But for sure latest destroyers and light cruisers have good recon, even what i see on side of AI designs.
