Feriluce Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 i5 - 750 ATI 5870 4gb of ram I get a good 60 fps on high with no AA on. The AA COMPLETELY destroys my framerate though. 4x puts it in the low 20's.
Tyro Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I'm currently running it on an: i5-2320 @ 3.0 GHz PNY GTX 650 2GB XLr8 6GB of RAM 1TB Dell Harddrive Getting around 25-35 FPS on high settings. I am soon to be running it on: i5-4690k @ 4.4 GHz Asus Strix GTX 970 (may upgrade to SLI in the future) 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 Corsair Venegance 256GB Crucial MX100 SSD WD Black 1TB harddrive I'll post performance when it's built and running next week
racketyjack Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Im running an older computer Ive had for about 7 years. It has a AMD Phenom II X 4 965 quad core cpu on an older ASUS M4A79XTD EVO mobo. It has 8GB of GSkill Razor DDR3 memory and a new AMD Radeon R7 200 with 2GB of onboard memory. I run the game on ultra settings and get 30 dps according to the ingame frames monitor. I get 60 fps according to fraps! No stutters, drips, runs, or errors...
Horatio Hornblower Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Bonden - I'm playing on a laptop with less than that (except the processor, mine is an i7 2.4) and I'm getting 22fps on Low, which is more than playable in my opinion. It won't be amazing, but I think it'll get the job done. I'm even playing on an ultrabook with intel graphics 4000 and as you said: with 22fps in low on a 1366x768 resolution it makes a lot of fun! I will get a better machine when Star Citizen launches, because they always demand best hardware, but if someone plays nothing more demanding than Naval Action he doesn't have to sell his car! Edit: this shall be a compliment to the developers!!
amphore Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 intel (4 cores) I-7 3.0ghz 12gb ram radeon r9 x270 win 8.1 x64 1980x1080 res playing all in ultra but dropped the water to medium to have a confortable 65-80fps if I put water to high-ultra I drop to 40-50fps and that too low for me :L
KillBox Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 My framerates have somehow improved... I was getting ~75fps on a single GTX780. After the last two patches (and one nVidia Driver update) I decided to crank it up to Custom with all the bells and whistles going. Now I'm getting 100fps+ - drops down to about 80fps with significant action and rough seas... Did I accidentally break Unity?

The performance is far greater than I had ever hoped. Not only am I running the game on Ultra, but I'm also running it in 2715x1527 downsampled resolution! FPS is a smooth 60, with vsynch. I've not experienced any dips greater than 5FPS whatsoever! It sure does feel nice finally being a part of the PC master race.

Many thanks, for your time. And no rush to get back to me. See Ya!
