Formations works awful

Is it possible to completely turn off formation mechanic and move each ship separately?
I detached all ships and in bottom each of them have his separate icon but they still drawing link lines and doing weird maneurs in circles under enemy fire trying make a line instead going a way I pointed.

deactivate ship collision and dont use too large fleets
