PrezesOi Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 (edited) One of the best space games is just finishing (25.02) long-term process of rejuvenating surgery. After over 700 battles during NA Sea Trials I guess I can (thanks to my old friend from early PotBS days-El Diablo) make a small side jump ;-) Edited February 23, 2015 by PrezesOi
GreatScott Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I ran across this on steam today and saw it was on sale - 15 % off http://store.steampowered.com/app/244160/ Never played it, it looks like it's a single player which is probably why.
Crossfader Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 cant wait, I played HW2 alot, modded it alot... love the new graphics, but man, the old ones still hold up.
Salty Dog (Xabaras) Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 (edited) Bought it on steam. Also, have you guys heared about Homeworld: Shipbreakers? I can't wait for that one! Edited February 23, 2015 by Salty Dog 1

Hethwill, the Red Duke Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 That Hardware looks good. Reminds a lot of good ol' Ground Control
Jeheil Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Takes me back...took a while to get my noggin around 3D on this one. Great game, really atmospheric (big + to the music), this was the New Battlestar Galactica...before there was a new BG !
Devante del Nero Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 One of the best games ever. It's always amazed me that in all these years nothing I've played in the 3d space rts category comes close to matching it.
Sundagger Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 (edited) Quite a departure from Naval Action, but since the topic has been raised I will contribute my part to it:-) I have played all official releases of the series: Homeworld, Homeworld: Cataclysm, Homeworld 2 and the remastered versions of 1 & 2 (the Collector's edition of which is Superb). Historically these were single player, but a beta multiplayer client is being released with the Steam Remastered edition. Homeworld: Shipbreakers was originally an independent and partially crowd-funded project called Hardware: Shipbreakers developed by Blackbird Interactive (excellent team of ex-homeworld/ex-relic developers). Gearbox saw the potential of Shipbreakers and its obvious links to Homeworld backstory (see the intro movie for Homeworld showing the history of the guide stone), and 'adopted' it, giving Blackbird access to Homeworld IP to create an official (land-based) prequel to Homeworld :-) Edited March 3, 2015 by Sundagger
