CenturionsofRome Posted January 19 Posted January 19 @o Barão could you please make a version without the new major nations? Even on Legendary difficulty the AIs spend the first 20-30 years in constant war until several AIs are eliminated, which cripples their economies and fleets (even superpowers, like Britian, France, and USA, regularly have their fleets reduced to single digits, or completely annihilated, due to the constant fighting) for the rest of the game and leaves them severely lagging technologically to the Player if they stay out of the fighting, which is rather easy to do. All in all, not very satisfying.
CenturionsofRome Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Also, found a new bug. When you win a "military conflict" - one of your provinces with a port rebels - you keep access to the port but lose the province, and the military conflict tag on the left of the screen doesn't go away until you reboot the game. I think the tags for winner and looser might have gotten swapped. Maybe this has something to do with the "line 36" crash?

The red section at the bottom should show you a province name. In my example it was Northern Columbia, and that example is attached. Go back to the main menu and use the file converter to convert that save file from .bin to .json. The file converter icon resembles a compass rose. Use a .json editor (Here's a link to my preferred one. Use it in Table Mode. There will be a screenshot attached: https://jsoneditoronline.org/#left=local.paxuyo ). Once you have the .json editor open, click on Open, then Open from Disk, and then maneuver to the save file location. This should be: C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Game Labs\Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts. You will then select the .json of your save file. With the file now opened, it will display this table with all of the options. You will select "Provinces" which will display the following table. Click ID to sort the provinces by alphabetical order. Scroll down to the province that is causing the issue. There are three columns: "Controller", "ClaimPlayer", and "ControllerPlayer". Controller and ControllerPlayer should be blank, while ClaimPlayer will show the original country this province belonged to. Copy and Paste the ClaimPlayer into Controller and ControllerPlayer. Click Apply. Click Save and then Save to Disk. You will replace the old .json at C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Game Labs\Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts. Go back to Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts and use the File Converter to convert the .json file back to .bin. Launch the save file. If you've done this correctly, the Move Ship Freeze should be defeated. It worked for me, so I hope that it will work for you 4
TheBlackCitadel Posted Monday at 09:17 AM Posted Monday at 09:17 AM I have further proof of my method working. The Move Ship Freeze happened once more, this time with Eastern Sweden. I utilized my same file editing process, and that fixed it once more. 1
JeeWeeJ Posted Monday at 12:30 PM Posted Monday at 12:30 PM Can confirm that this works, also had that bug and editing the savegame works like a charm (just takes some doing)
CenturionsofRome Posted Monday at 01:28 PM Posted Monday at 01:28 PM Did more testing and can confirm that the outcomes of "military conflicts" are reversed. If you meet the tonnage requirements like you're supposed to, you lose. If you don't, you win. 1
pad923 Posted Tuesday at 04:15 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:15 AM (edited) Hey! I don't know if this has been reported already, but I just had this happen to me. Every time I click an option it advances in the log, but doesn't have any effect and it doesn't make the options go away. I see that it is a tweaks and fixes issue, but since I am running this mod as well I figured that I might as well check if it an issue here, too. Edit: I fixed this by just re downloading my mods! If this happens to you, try that! Edited Thursday at 04:54 AM by pad923
adukes24 Posted Tuesday at 04:59 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:59 AM Current year 1926, 1890 China Legendary difficulty start From others I've see post an error like this, I'm guessing this is the final straw in this current campaign? Or is there any current fixes to be done through the json editing of the save file?
greyghost3000 Posted Tuesday at 08:32 AM Posted Tuesday at 08:32 AM I need help to install the mod. Is this right install?

The only nation that is necessary is Turkey. Because its existence influenced European geopolitics in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. All the others have a negative impact on the gameplay. I understand that the inhabitants of these countries would like to play "for their own country", but the game is simply not designed for this. The game interface does not accommodate all the information on changing relations (part of the text is beyond the upper border of the window). Since the events of changing relations are purely random - after 20 years of the campaign, all the "added nations" find themselves in a constant war with everyone. And simply by a superior number of military clashes they exhaust and destroy the fleet of Britain and France (major European nations). 2

Walayimuna Posted Wednesday at 04:10 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:10 AM Can you fix issues with hulls, like conflicting placements? Like the small battleship submerged torpedo tubes, I'm confident it's a design error and the tubes should be spread evenly instead of the two on top of each other
Masonator Posted Wednesday at 06:20 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:20 PM Sorry - been away from the game for quite a while. What is the current state of the mod? Seeing a lot of error reports in the last few pages of this thread. Is it stable on the latest UAD release yet, and if not, which UAD and NAR versions do I need to backdate to the last stable patch?
VadimAleks Posted Wednesday at 07:43 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:43 PM (edited) 1 hour ago, Masonator said: which UAD and NAR versions do I need to backdate to the last stable patch 1.6.1.2 but in the old version of the game there are some improvements and corrections missing. And I'm not sure you can find the old version of NAR. So here https://dropmefiles.com/Q6B2v (expired in 7 days). This is the version from November 6, 2024 - according to my calculations, exactly 1.6.1.2 Edited Wednesday at 07:49 PM by VadimAleks
