Is this issue occuring to anyone else? Game freezes while Moving Vessels during the AI's turns. Keep happening at a certain point even after game restart, so it's gamebreaking.

did you manage to get a work around? facing the same problem as we speak

What is interesting, is that i'm not seeing any errors on the melonloader. Next turn loads as normal, gives me the next turn notifications such as wars, research and so on, but after closing all the boxes, the moving vessels screen in still sitting behind the other notifications. Going back to the menu and then opening the campaign again does make a turn move, but its hanging every turn now.
Since i started seeing this error, the same kind of message has beein apearing on melon at the botton, as the last message showing to me: 
"[21:20:39.002] [TweaksAndFixes] [Unity]: [ConquestEvent] started. Province Northern Colombia Player United States
[21:20:39.002] [TweaksAndFixes] [Unity]: [ConquestEvent] created. Province Northern Colombia Player United States"
but with diferent nations. Not sure if this could be causing this somehow. 

Edit: disregard the melon message, just skiped a turn and the game hang again without showing the province message

I already checked the provinces files, and it seems there are some changes by the devs in the recent updates. I will need to look with more time to be sure.

I will block the mod files for the moment until I can fix this issue.

I posted three weeks ago on the mod's steam topic to let you know about suggestions. Seeing the number of player, I assume that for the relation problem I do something in a wrong way and would like other players' suggestions to not have permanent war for me and all AI nations.

 

But I formulated two suggestion that I want to be sure you've seen.

Beeing at war with Turkey mean the possibility to take Dardanelles but incapacity to go in the Black Sea to take Bosporus and win some VP. If you can edit the map to let fleets between the straits be considered in the Black Sea or change sea region of Bosporus to the Aegean one, it would be nice.

Another great improvement would be to have a main tower available to the mordern torpedo boat hull.

 

Finally, probably a bug from the mod but don't sure of that : with the crew training budget at the maximum as France, I have a +250 men monthly grow with 2800 crew pool, when other democracy have many ten thousands men (USA at 90k for exemple) and +300 to +500 monthly men. Now I build destroyers to take men aboard and recruit more crew to take them on other destroyers and scrap the ship when the battleship is launched. Otherwise I can't have 5000+ crew pool…

Even if I could, I would never do that. I think there is no need to explain why.

All torpedo boats have a main tower. Maybe you misspelled and are talking about secondary towers? In that case is not an improvement because I would to gave them to all TBs, and the AI is already terrible designing ships so it would lead to more confusions and bigger loading times for no interesting gameplay gains.

I am failing to see where is the bug.  Bigger populations = more crew available to recruit, simple as that. You can always use the slider to recruit more, but you can't expect to compete with larger nations in manpower just because you are spending more money.

The game is running well!

What I am seeing is that maybe I increase too much the probability to see conquest events and now all the time there are wars or landing invasions. Add the new minor wars changes by the devs and the world looks now like a total war game.

 

The last image is a funny situation. Argentina is trying to conquest Uruguay, and so the Brazil by doing a naval invasion.

 

I will upload again the files and will ask to test again if possible.

thanks. I updated UAD to 1.6.1.3 and completeley replaced the old NAR Files as well as the TAF Files by the current ones. Then I continued the formerly breaking savegame to try it again.  aaaand the bug was still occuring. 

I could imagine, that it has something to do with the ship names? It's still the savegame with the old name files, before you gave us the older, but working one. Could that be the problem? Dunno, perhaps the game is kinda looking for ship names that no longer exist or something like that?

Try a new campaign. Yes, it could be an issue with the old shipnames file.

Okay. I will do. Sorry, that I did not mention it. It just come to me, that it actually might be a problem there. Didn't expect this earlier. I will tell you within the next 30 Minutes, if the bug occurs on a new savegame or not.

@o BarãoWell, it seems to be fine now. I saws the "moving vessels" thing once for a short moment, but no further freeze.

Unrelated matter: How to see the success chances of a naval invasion? I don't really understand what that 239% means. Just failed an invasion even though it had about 1500%? Anyone knows how exactly it works now?

Great to know there is no bugs anymore crashing the campaign. I will work to implement the remaining features and will go live this week.

 

I don't understand those values. I don't expect to be related to any change I could have made, but I will look again before releasing the new update just to be sure.

nah, I actually don't think this is related to the mod. Rather to the rework of naval invasions made in the last updates. Was just hoping anyone here would know. You all good. :) Or maybe not? I dunno, perhaps there is something not working.

NAR Beta you mean? Yeah, it's beta of this mod, since Barao isn't yet where he wants to be. But it's the current live version, yes
