Emryse Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Hi - first off - after playing 410 hours and I'm sure will be playing so many more - thank you deeply for such a wonderful game! The issue: My campaign ends upon start of next turn, citing "totally bankrupt" as reason - even though I have a very very high amount of naval funds, and future turn predicts a positive funds surplus. What's frustrating: At this point, I can't even revert to a previous save - it just wipes the save and ends the campaign Suggested solutions: - consider implementing an auto-save file for each campaign that saves the game automatically when the end turn button is selected; this way the player can at least go back to the last turn and try something different or try to recreate the issue to submit a bug ticket in game - is there somewhere you can point me to with the conditions that must be met for "totally bankrupt" end campaign condition? Potential steps to recreate issue: - I had an extremely high naval funds balance - like 27 trillion dollars - I had an extremely high monthly surplus - like $300 billion dollars - I was in a war with multiple major nations - is there potential if naval funds balance or monthly surplus balance goes too high, it breaks things?
Nick Thomadis Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Hello, Did your nation had a low GDP or it lost major provinces due to conquering? If yes, then this can be a reason of a defeat, since your nation can no longer exist. You can use a different save slot as an alternative so that you have more than one saves of the same campaign.
