2 UI suggestions.

1.  The ability to put abbreviations or designations as a ship type would be nice.  While the game treats a dedicated minelayer as the hull it's based on, I'd like to group my designes together on the list.  DDML for instance for a destroyer minelayer.  Just so it's easier to pick through the list looking for a certain type of design you just don't remember the exact name of after 25 years of in game time.

 

2.  (after a continuous scrolling map) being able to highlight  countries based on ownership would be great, as well as supply lines, resources, etc...  I still haven't found a territory I've owned for 6 years...

Those are good suggestions I very much support.

Speaking of scrolling across the map, it'd also be nice if we could assign a key to move the camera back to our capital province. When playing as Japan for example it is quite annoying to have the camera regularly snap onto central Europe and having to scroll back to your own islands each time.
