LudwigVonClausewitz Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 Prior to Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts' release on Steam, I purchased the game off of the developer's website, and I was happy to do so - enjoying the custom battles, training scenarios, and most of all, the ship designer. I enjoyed the game so much, even in this rough, bare state, that instead of bothering to contact the developers to get my Steam key after the game launched on Steam, I took the expedient means of simply buying a new fresh copy of the game from Steam. Meaning that this is a game which I enjoy enough that I am willing to pay for it twice, even though it is FAR from being close to finished. Having clearly outlined how much I value this game... I would also be willing to pay even more money, if the developers would release an unencrypted, moddable, (non-bug-reporting-capable) version of the game. From a technical standpoint, I cannot believe that it would be such a difficult thing to accomplish. What are other people's thoughts? 1
Littorio Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 I doubt they would ever deviate from whatever plan they have cooked up at the moment. I suspect Stillfront has them by the balls working to a different rhythm than Game Labs originally conceived. 1
