i did get bored of the same old game and when i saw there was more content added i went to play but the auto updater does not work

Admirals, in case you tried to start the game via old launcher - you will not receive the latest version of the game. You need to install the game on Steam. Please check your email and find an email from Xsolla with your Steam key. If you can't find it - please contact us on ink@navalaction.com from the email that was used to purchase the game.
