A little suggestion on boarding

I'm sure we've all experience sinking before a boarding battle ends.
Which can be a little bit unpleasant to a few, or many, I don't know. 

Wouldn't it be nice if a ship sinks during a battle, the crew of the sunk ship will jump onto the other hostile ship (maybe with additional casualties)
and the battle will continue on that ship.
If sunk ship crew wins the fight, the crew takes control of the ship.
If sunk ship crew looses the fight, the crew, of course, will not be able to take the ship, and will be spectating for the rest of the round.
