here could be some nice design for 1930/40 era battleship and battlecruiser not the biggest fan that the current towers wehave is just the same just a bit bigger and with diffrent stat

Nations with huge towers are a ballache, especially as they don't add much vs like the Italians, who have small towers I believe. Either way, can defo fit more guns on some nations ships, cause the deck isn't 70% taken via two huge superstructures

Yep and a lot of that space is dead-space for funnels you just don't need.

If my ship only needs 1 funnel, why wouldn't I use the same towers but with the bit that does nothing besides mount 2 unused funnel slots get chopped off.
I think this would solve a lot of the issues, just make the funnel mounts optional.
