Joe Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 A simple suggestion if your seeking a book that does a good job of covering the age of sail and it's more interesting aspects this book is worth a look. It offers what seems to be a fairly realistic look at life and the ships in this romantic period. The book is also available in audio book format if that's more your thing. And I've heard the sample and it's well read. It covers roughly the mid 1700s to the early 1800's so it covers the golden age of the ship of the line but doesn't negelct the smaller ships and Frigates receive special attention. Overall I'd say it's worth a read or listen. 1
