Bishop120 Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 So I ran a campaign with 1940s British on hard against random AI. Pre-made fleets gives us both about 60ish ships. I immediately went into ship designer and built a max range BC. Did 1-2 battles with the AI where I sunk 5 CLs and a DD while waiting for 5 BC to be built. As soon as they were built it put the Germans into blockade with over 160k power projection. I mothballed the rest of my fleet except for the 5 BCs and put them In Being. I still had 106k power projection where as the AI had like 46/47k ish. No battles for the next year to year and a half of game time while I got small amount VPs every month. AI constantly built new ships to try and match me but only got upto to around 79kish PP. Campaign lasted 2 years 4 months ending due to "Revolution". Only the 5CLs and 1DD were sunk as well as 30 enemy transports vs 15 of my transports. VPs was something insignificant like 10k to 2k.. small numbers compared to other matches. My take away from this is one.. the battle generator doesnt seem to know how to handle unbalanced fleet compositions as its seems to constantly be trying to match to a semi equal academy type mission. Second is that Power Projection for blockades relies far to much on range.
