Punisher_1 Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 I took one torp to the bow and the whole ship flooded. The ship had all the anti flood, reinforced bulkheads and many bulkheads along with auxiliary engines for improved flood control and the like. While the Brit light cruiser took three torps and was still afloat even though it had massive damage and the like. Something seems broken here.
BionikSheep Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 *rolls eyes* See details, what exact components did both ships have, where did the torpedoes hit? Fresh areas or damage saturated areas? What size of torpedoes? What were crew casualties like? What previous damage was sustained? What was the displacement of both ships? If you can't list out the facts for proper investigation then this isn't useful information. 1
Karlchen Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Maybe the enemy has developed bigger torps then you?
T_the_ferret Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 It is pretty common for some ships to take one torpedo and sink while others suffer 5 flash fire and are fine. Its generally a known issue
Drenzul Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Were you using 18" torps and the AI using 22" or similiar? A 22" torp will normally 1 hit a CL. Also I've noticed the AI favouring high levels of torp-belts as well.
