PLEASE Give us an ‘Upgrade All’ Button

Would anyone else appreciate a button within the ship designer that one can hit and it automatically upgrades all modules to the highest possible level? I’d say the only thing it shouldn’t touch is the armor (values; it should upgrade the armor type to maximum).

I hate going through each module, especially at the start of a new campaign.

If I have an issue with the weight once the ship is designed, I can go back and adjust modules as-needed.

Thoughts?

I would propose two buttons, an upgrade button that could upgrade easily upgradeable components like radio/radar and such and a refit button that will allow you to make more extensive changes.

Most case scenario you do not want most of the upgrade as their cost and mass are really high. I would suggest that it simply remember your last perks selection and apply that.

Giving an "Upgrade All" button cannot work simply. Every new tech or component can affect ship weights dramatically and make it either overweight or uncontrollably expensive. Additionally there is not always a simple approach "bigger is better". Designing a ship always needs examinations of the compromises. The upcoming refit mode will allow the way to properly upgrade your ships according to your own needs.
