Ships comparison chart?

It would be very handy to have a chart or a basic guide to each ship. I am never sure what I am getting into when I step aboard a new ship. How many guns? Is it fast or maneuverable? What are its basic strengths and weaknesses? 

 

I have found one chart but it really only told me how many guns each ship has, and I think it's safe to assume that larger ships will always have more guns. Beyond that, a guide would be very handy. Has anyone put one together?
