Sincress Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Hi, I'm having issues with starting the battle after the ship designer. After the lengthy loading process the loading screen gets stuck at "Loading Level..." indefinitely. When clicking the mouse anywhere on screen, the battle scene opens but there is no UI, no ocean, only the ships are visible. When pressing Esc, nothing happens, and it's impossible to get any UI to show. The issue is 100% reproducible meaning I can't enter the battle at all without this happening. It started happening after the Core 0.5 patch. Loading screen, "Loading Level..." text is pulsing like Click To Start Battle should be.https://drive.google.com/file/d/187v-F1y6PlNAUpkBunrNnZpAPTGkpxtw/view?usp=sharing When I click anywhere on screen, incompletely loaded Battle scene appears:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1q5x2Suf4DAi_4vuG4VxjmDhLKXm-sA2Q/view?usp=sharing Errors in the log: Unloading 0 unused Assets to reduce memory usage. Maik1508 Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 I got the same issue ☹️ i like this game i am very disappointed about this i hope some how to fix it. Is there someone who now how to fix this problem.
Nick Thomadis Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Unpacker uses a standalone 7zip exe. Can you try to install 7zip in your system (it is free) and see if this helps with the problem?
Sincress Posted September 17, 2021 Author Posted September 17, 2021 I tried installing 7zip but the problem still occurs, unfortunately.
Maik1508 Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 i solved the problem i updated my nvidia geforce gtx 1650 and now it works as well as before the problems so check if your video cart is fully updated hope for you it will work🙏

Admiral, please wait until the fix is live or you can try this workaround: when windows attempts to close the application, try to wait for the app to respond without clicking any button - app shall respond

The battle scene loads, but it doesn't load properly. I just can't play at all now, even after a full reinstall.

Multiple users have reported this issue. The game gets hung at "loading level" and you can literally wait for hours and it will never proceed to "click to continue" The game is in a broken, unplayable state for some users, and it is unacceptable to keep seeing "wait without clicking, the game will respond" 1
Nick Thomadis Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 We have uploaded a hotfix addressing this very serious issue. Please check it out and advise if it has fixed the problem for you.

I even completely deleted the game, wiped settings, and did a fresh reinstall on a different drive. Game loads, builder works perfectly, but the game will never pass loading level. Sound plays like waves, if you click you can see ships, but it is frozen, no UI and no water.

Sincress Posted September 22, 2021 Author Posted September 22, 2021 My drivers are up to date, and it's an older NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. I also haven't had any issues up to now.
