Admiral_Of_The_Fleet Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I would just like to say I do not feel comfortable in leading battles because of the high tier ship I am in, and I am not confident as being a leader as I have not quite grasped the game yet. Many of you have spent a lot of your gaming time trying to teach me how to manual sail and I still find it hard to grasp and read the wind, for those that have helped me I thank you. Please if you see me in game don't have a go at me I am trying my very best, just that it will take me some time. A lot of people can get to grips with the techniques and some people it takes longer, I am one of those people. Once again, thank you for your help.. 9
Balsafer Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Take ya time, I dont like to lead much either but when you are the only SoL sometimes the leader role falls on your shoulders and at times I lead my shipmates to victory and sometimes things don't work out and I get defeated.
ObiQuiet Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Well, perhaps your name implies a certain level of rank... that might explain it ;-) I'm in a similar, but smaller boat: "tries hard, but lacks natural talent" applies to me. Cheers, mate.
teatrader Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Take your time, but don't ,make it harder then it is. As far as manual sailing i know it is as simple as this: Make a arrow with your sails pointing in the direction you want to turn. Turn left (A) then also press (Q) and © Sails will look like this < Turn right (D) then also press (E) and (Z) Sails will look like this > Press (F) when you are done turning and check the bottem left of the screen to see if you are really back in Automatic sailing mode.
Prater Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 You had a good battle tonight with me. Thanks for coming in and covering me when I asked. You wrestled that vic with your bellona perfectly, and then with the enemy bellona as well.
