account confirmation

i bought ultimate admiral back in october and finally installed it.  I created an account , ****r@gmail.com, and it fails on the account confirmation step.  The confirmation email is sent.  When i click to confirm, It opens a new tab in my browser, and then times out with a waiting for a response.

I'd really like to play the game.
