After crash, game thinks i'm still playing

After the game crashes, I attempt to re-launch it.  The launcher reports that I'm already in-game and cannot launch it,  I'm not in game at the moment, the .exe is not running. But I can't play.  After waiting approx 10 minutes, the launcher continues to report the same.  Why can't i use the game?

Fifteen minutes after the crash now, launcher still won't let me play.

Twenty minutes after the crash, game launcher continues to report that I'm in-game and unable to re-launch.

Finally it let me into the launcher.  What sort of bush league rubbish is this?

The crash itself isn't the issue here, the timeout on the serial-check in the launcher is.  The game itself runs solid, and the crash is not in the application layer.

Greetings Admiral! The workaround for the problem is to leave launcher as it is for about 3-5 min, the state will then change from In Game to Play again
