The game won't run

I just bought Ultimate General: Civil War. It downloaded, it try to run it, and it says the app is running on the start bar, and music starts playing, but it won't go any further than that. It doesn't crash, it just continues to sit there not loading. Any assistance would be great

Greetings! Have you tried to check integrity of game files in Steam? (Right click on the game in Steam Lib, properties->local files tab)
