am i reading this wrong?

given the numbers im seeing i should have no trouble? every shot i land doesnt pen, it just bounces off. yet the A.I shells seem to do damage no matter what. whats wrong please???

also, it doesnt matter how much protection i give my ship in the way of armour or barbette/ citi armour i always get sunk.

Besides the ricochet angle being 46 degrees and saying average i have no clue. Makes me wonder if the mission itself is bugged.

Hopefully this gets sorted out when alpha 9 finally drops or at least alleviated in some way.

For one, you need to update your game. We are on Alpha 8 now, about to go into Alpha 9. No sense in reporting problems when you are outdated in an Alpha test game.

What version number does your game show because even after DL-ing the latest two quick-patches, my game shows  Alpha v76.

So either I'm missing some step in upgrading (which should, and so far has been automatic - well, I had to click "update"), something isn't displayed as it should be or v76 _is_ Alpha 8

Mine says Alpha V76 as well. It might not match up

Im guessing this is due to it being a smaller update rather than the chonk we are getting maybe next week or the week after.

They could just be using 2 update scales. Like we could actually be on update 76 but alpha 8.

Probably, i was thought it was something like V76.8 with the .8 representing the current alpha. Then game yeets itself into 80.1 to maybe donate closed beta testing.

Idk i just me quads and 20inch guns!

Could have swore it changed to v8 with Alpha 8 but apparently not. The two small updates weren't code updates, so they would not change the number I'd assume.

The version setup could be Major.Minor.Release.Build, 

the two notation could be any one of those.
