I cant log in authentication error everytime?

Sometimes the Steam Auth service is a dog and you need to keep punching login until it works.

I also have this problem and I've been trying to log in for hours. What should I do? And yes my finger hurts from spamming that login button.

Try quitting out of Steam completely and relaunching it.  If that doesn't work, try restarting your computer.  This has always fixed this issue for me in the past, unless a server is down.
