Nahku Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Is there any way to invert the mouse Y-axis? Yes, I'm one of those weirdos and I play with inverted mouse in all games, I guess it's a result of growing up playing flight sims (pull the stick back, nose up). I have a terribly hard time playing without Y-axis inversion, and I thought it was a built-in feature of the Unity engine. Is there a config file or something that can be edited? I'd rather not use a 3rd party app, especially if it permanently inverts it (even in menus). Thanks! 1
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I don't believe that's possible just now, but perhaps in the future there will be an option for inverted Y-Axis. 1
Nahku Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 Thank you for the reply. Here's hoping so, it seems to be standard in most games these days, thankfully. Hopefully it's easy to implement.
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 My understanding (I'm not a Unity Developer) is that Unity can be a bit cantankerous when it comes to control inputs. I hope as well that such a great feature can be implemented at some point. Have a great weekend sir.
Macjimm Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Yes. This would be a very good feature to impliment.
Bolitho Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 (edited) There is a little program calles Sakasa. Works very well. http://sakasa-mouse.softwareandgames.com/ TIP Hold mouse upside down until you get into the game. Edited March 14, 2015 by Bolitho

It's pretty much a given in modern gaming. They can do it, I have no doubt. (edit: sakasa does not help, as it makes your controls in menus a mess. Unity supports inverted Y-Axis, no need fr a 3rd party program). Edited April 11, 2015 by Nahku
