Thonys Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 (edited) With the new update where guns have better penetration there is a certain imbalance in the game experience (at least that's how I experience this) angling a ship is almost of no value anymore as you can angle whatever you want but you get a mega amount of damage to tackle this effect i believe that there is not much to change except the base damage from a single ball I suggest reducing a ball's base damage by 20% for all cannons. where with the smaller guns that do damage when penetrated through the splinter increase damage you have to think of 5% more for 4/6/9 pd this to give the smaller caliber more efficiency. Henry Long Castle Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 We had a port battle at watlings today. It was very hard to actually sink someone since the damage output of our small long guns just wasnt enough. It took great effort to sink people that were at half structure. I think damage is alright for small calibers but repairing is too much. 1
