Yeah, i've tried multiple websites to embed the images into. im going to past these links however im not sure if this will show the image in-general.

Basically i gave her Red turrets, because i saw something about miss arizona being a blue colour with red stripes on the top apprently, the different colours meant different battleship divisions so wanted to replicate that with the above.

But yeah before the forum changes imgur, pasteboard and a few others worked well enough.

Well i've always wanted to 3d model ships anyways so this is more of an excuse to that do that really, plus something i want to do in the future regardless.

The ship designer being limited isn't really a reason, however i would like too see moar stuff be put into like hulls, superstructures, masts, turret designs, different gun designs etc.

Been doing other types of modelling liek weapons sci-fi ships and buildings as well besides pre-dreads ww2 and post ww2 alternative ships in-general.

Mainly just for a fun really.

Ok ladz, sorry for the long block of not positng anything had quite a bit of things to do irl and other projects to finish off.

Ill go through my models and see which ones will need some increased amount of detail (probs be the, pitty pittsburgh).

Will do about 1hr or so on the models and thanks to those for the feedback and kind words!

Ok ladz, spent around 3hrs ish on miss pitty pittsburgh doing various things like the rigging, mast fences, ladders for the secondaries, new parts for the main turrets, catapults and a elevator door for planes and other tidbits.

 

Getting closer to realisation everyday, will probs add a few more things to make her deck and superstructure more crowded.

That looks pretty amazing. I always like if ships look like they are in actual use - meaning everything looks busy and a little random if you know what I mean

Thanks lads, still have quite a bit to do lol, despite her current iteration, Ill also skim through my other projects and see what else i can do for those (think one of the dreadnoughts needs rigging anyways).

Those catapults are placeholders atm, also need to add other small objects along the superstructure and deck, like ropes, those wheel things, boxes, cylinders etc.

And moar for miss pitty, mostly smaller details than anything large or imposing, will do the crane, more rigging, other smaller bits, ladders for turrets, binos for look outs and anchors (will probs have to adjust the hull mesh for anchors). More radars and other smaller bits.

Ill also do that other pre-dread as well which i forgot and do her stats as well if they aren't already done yet.

Will just render an image of the pre-dreads side by side in terms of the biggest.

Ill also do another pre-dread around that time as well. How does a triple gun or a super firing pre-dread sound?

A superfiring turret would be interesting. Maybe with a secondary? Like the Kearsarge Class (not a good example tho, because her secondary turret couldn't rotate)

Well since she will be a complete fictional design i could go with a secondary turret behind the regular main gun turret, will probs make them about 240ish mm's in caliber.

Was wondering if i should also do a triple barrel turret alongside that as well, and make her into somekind of super pre-dread as well.
