Hey 

I asked a lot of guys looted a Lot of elite Ships but i never saw 36PD Navy or bloomfield guns Dropping. I can set a conract for them, but as far as i know nobody saw them ever. Maybee implement them into the Dropping of Elite Ships? Plz.

the big  problem in this game is RNG and restrictions

it's a lottery game sometimes and unavailability per region

actually 

-  all those weapons should be made by the gunsmith

   for there appropriate price...of course

 

the same goes for slots in general and also  many other stuff

-- the contradiction is the blueprints for example (where you can make wood types )

    it seems a game in a game in a game and many game styles (what's a tradition of old game styling from the past kept for" ä good way to do it") 

 

it's better to have a consistent overall way of doing stuff but that's my opinion..

and we can't change this 

it is what it is :but it certainly puts a question mark on your forehead.

 

those guns 

- also it is just not implemented ...not in RNG and not in gun smids store.

By gunsmith this will kill again more the meta.

We need a reward systeme for get them , pb win , pvp leaderboard can be very good cause they are just usless for now.

sure it is one of the ways   to get those guns .

but i rather have a system where they come available for everybody...(not only pvp stars) 

 

if sailing is the main objective in this game 

then the rest of all of the shitt we have  should make this possible at the appropriate price...(and not rng or pushed captains by others [if you get my drift] )

 

the more and more i think about it the more it think it has become pandora's box 

we all really have to get back to our roots (sailing)

(let me give a little example: now upgrades  heel a ship in a negative way ...to my knowledge it is the wind who heels the ship...in a storm you will capsize if the sails are not altered for appropriate balance )

And pvp stars..... actually who got ez the guns? PVE stars , who get the best wood ez? Trader stars/alt stars.


In every MMO pvp player can have access tp best content cause PVP  was always the more hard and risky way

i agree but also partially right 

some just don't  have access  but its a way to look at things.

 

let me ask you a question .

1:why does the south territory does only have up to 4 rate missions in the dutch territory ? 

2.why are the dutch ruled  out of RVR because of that. and pushed in defence more of the time ? (the...carta syndrome perhaps ??)

3.why am i wrong here ..

It's a sandbox game, so there should be more than one way to get them. By PvP leaderboard is a way that will only make the elite get them. Everyone should have the same chance. I do like the fact that there is some form of reward after a won PB, and I would add the guns to the PvP reward system. For CM or VM. That way everyone can get them and PvP players have a better chance from PZ and PvP missions.

And add the 36 pnd indeed.

I am against it tto reward players who plays anyway effectiv :P

But it doesnt change it: Has anyone seen 36 PD bloomfields or Navyguns?

META? what META? there is nothing - and it doesn't matter when we have all guns available as long the game is so unbalanced at the moment.

at the moment u need to work on those guns. IF u can get them however without Elite fleets: It will be meta...

Actually you get the Pve farming for get them.

You can add Pvp leaderboard for have a 2nd way to get them for player who dont' make pve

You can make Rvr for get them ( winning port battle in def /attack)

You can make patrole zone 

You can create event every week ect ect....
 

Why i say Pvp, cause actually pvp don't give you real reward compare to masse Alt farming and Pve farming

you got a golden de Ruyter for getting these guns in PvP. If you sink me while I use them, you can then loot them..just not many players use them.

I didn't say I was opposed to your system of PvP leaderboard, just sayin that would make it available for 15 guys, And those 15 guys are doing the best in their PvP missions at that moment I guess. So get most CM. Which is why I ask to get them as a PvP reward.

I    have     the    best      master gunsmith of the entire world ....but for some reason ... GOD OGUN gave him ignorance and epileptic attacks  ....

I don't think that Random RNG fits well into to NA gameplay. Chosen RNG would be much better.

All occurencies of pure randomness are bad in this game.

Giving special items by crafting is also not the right way, because then it's too easy for everyone to get them.
Giving them as rewards for PVP even draws the spiral more down, because then you get few successful players with powerful upgrades.
The fair way would be to rely on specialization. The best way and somehow realistic. The whole Japanese Tradition depends on it. For a very special sword, you need a very special swordsmith, a very special woodworker for the scabbard, a very special Tsuba maker, a specialist for making the winding of the grip band .... and so on.

Small example: let the player craft ships. Let him choose whatever trim he wants but if he really gets it, depends on random. Slightly rise the rate of success if he crafts more sucessfully ships of the same class and the same trim.

So lets say the player crafts a Surprise with speed trim. The first 12 times he fails and gets just a ship without trim. The 13th try succeeds, setting up the chance to craft a fast Surprise to +0.1%.

Same would work with guns. Let the player craft a 18pd long gun with trim accuracy. If he succeeds he gets "navy" guns. Let him choose damage and he gets blomefield. Let him choose reload and he gets Pood. Randomness is okay, but only if the player can choose what he eventually gets.

Having items only the elite few can obtain kills the meta way quicker than anything else 

Why should people bother trying pvp if the outcome is a forgone conclusion 

Not all of us are unemployed to which these type of games tend to cater to the grind is real

Im not advocating things should be easy but just not unobtainable
