With the new PB System I must ask this questions.
Is it really necessary that we can start a PB (conquest) out from a free Port?
It should not be allowed anyways as this Ports are neutral and free to enter for any nation. And the position of all those free ports is somehow unlucky so that some nations are always in defending position. it makes it now much more harder to defend.

I mainly speak here from "AVES" and "LA MONA" which should be reworked.

Russia has far more frontlines than Sweden... What do you mean about La mona? there are no swedish ports that can be attacked from that port

I think this is a GREAT idea, removing conquest from freeports. /sarcasm

Just think about it for, like idk, 3 seconds.

The gulf of Mexico would become COMPLETELY invulnerable. The only nations within throwing distance even would be Brits, Spain and the US. In fact Russia wouldn't really have to worry about being so spread out all over the map anymore, because our enemies wouldn't be able to engage us in any of those areas away from where they have their own footholds.

And just imagine if, say Sweden accidentally lost all of their ports outside of the Antilles all of a sudden. Then they would have to claw their way past the Danish or French capital to even get anywhere on the map.

We would be able to be at war ONLY with our neighbours.

Of course, it would have some negative consequences I guess. Pesky little things. Imagine if for example a nation like Poland ever lost their ONE port. They could literally NEVER get another port. Ever. GAME OVER.

In all seriousness. This is something we had before, and it actually was great. We were all fighting over our own little corner of the map, against our 2-3 immediate neighbours, except for the brits and pirates of course, who were in the center of the map and was fighting everybody. It was harder to get multiflipped by more than 2 nations, when most other nations were too far away to interact. The map felt a lot bigger back then, in 2016, even though it was the same map. Because RvR was so localised. You had 2, maybe 3 frontlines, not 10 (again, except for brits).

Unfortunately, maybe, this couldn't work now. Not with the map we have, the ports already conquered. And not with this many nations. Not with nations that don't have a capital to start out of.
