Christoffer Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 Just a quick question. is there a "standard" for the width to length of shells for naval artilery ? When i look at different pictures they all seem to be resonabely simmilar but i cant find any talk about why or the effects of whorter/longer shells. Anyone that can iluminate me ?
davidt_man Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 There are two very important equation related to ballistics. They are sectional density and ballistic co-efficient. Both of these equations are related to length, width , and weight of a projectile.
