Clarion Call Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 @Ink, I'm not sure if I'm facing a chat ban situation or not... But i can't see any of the regular chat channels such as Nation, Global, not even the Help channel. I can't add them and my friends list is also not loading. I also can't talk in battle chat and the regular tavern section loads into the battle instance Talking on Teamspeak to other people, I can log in and they visually see me in game, but they can't send messages or invite me to groups. I also cant send in-game mails or receive them. I'd greatly appreciate any help you could provide so i can talk to people and group up again. (not that there is anything critical said in nation chat, by the way) Please see the attached screenshot showing the empty tavern.
Atreides Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 Log completely out of the game and back in, this happens to me occasionally. Some sort of bug is all.
Clarion Call Posted May 21, 2020 Author Posted May 21, 2020 I did that: I also verified all local files I uninstalled the game and re-installed.. It still does not work correctly at all.
Beeekonda Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 1. noob question - have you tried to click on + sign? 2. try this 1
Atreides Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 Forgot about that workaround, had to do that once a few years back because I had moved the group list outside of my screen somehow. Give that a try Clarion.
Ink Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 @Clarion Call This is not a chat ban, please try the following: 1) https://forum.game-labs.net/topic/19975-workaround-for-certain-ui-loading-problems-inlcuding-trader-tool/ 2) https://forum.game-labs.net/topic/19975-workaround-for-certain-ui-loading-problems-inlcuding-trader-tool/?do=findComment&comment=542624 If both solutions did not help you, please try to uninstall Visual C++ 2013 package and 2015, 2017 and 2019 package and reinstall it from MS site: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
Clarion Call Posted May 21, 2020 Author Posted May 21, 2020 (edited) UPDATE: Thanks to all for helping me solve the issue! <0 Re-installed the packages, and now everything is working correctly. I had to reload each of the packages you listed @Ink in order to make it work. See screenshot below Edited May 21, 2020 by Clarion Call
