New Feature Proposals - Art and other various featurs. (Not related to combat, RVR, DLC or Economy)

Please post your ideas related to ART, Texts, localization, and other issues not related to RVR, Combat, Economy and DLC proposals. 

Standard rules apply.
 

Please propose your ideas in the following way.

  • 1 Post = 1 Proposal.
    • Players will vote on 1 proposals only. Multiple proposals will mix different subjects and confuse.
    • Multitiered or multi subject proposals will be removed.
  • Keep the proposals on the topic subjects
  • Do not comment. The thread is for proposals only
  • If you want to improve on other people proposals contact them so they can update the post. 
  • Best proposals will be brought up by the system based on likes and we will comment on them once in a while. Proposals which dont get community attention will be ignored and will sink to the bottom.

when clicking on a player shoud all so say what ship it is (maby the logo off ship is the right on as well )

Daily Maintenance needs to move right by two hours as it directly interferes with Australasian time slot preventing players participating in pbs etc. Or look at not doing maint for a week. This single mechanism is directly stopping large numbers of Asian players.

When sailing in OW, u dont have to click on a ship anymore to see if its NPC, enemy player or friendly player.

 

Instead of clicking on it, you just need to slip on it and the info will appear.

Proposal: Fishing boats and whalers.

I would like to see fishing boats - rowboat size, local people and natives in canoes, fishing along shorelines.  I'd like to see whalers way out at sea.  

Currently, the only ships we see are warships and trade ships.

These would be sprites, static in nature, and could be client based graphics options like my animal suggestion above.  They would be non-interactive, and exist simply to enrich the visuals at sea, lending more realism to the game.

Добавьте пожалуйста перк на подзорную трубу, при помощи которого в бою можно видеть расстояние до противника.
Это поможет рассчитать пробитие пушек, что позволит более эффективно воевать, не внося дисбаланса в игру.

Hello!

Please add a perk to the spyglass, with which you can see the distance to the enemy in battle.
This will help to calculate the penetration of guns, which will allow you to fight more efficiently without introducing an imbalance into the game.

Show again player names and clan ( even if enemy) and enable chatting with them.

This game is after all a game with human players, playing the same game for having fun. Quite a lot have friends in other nations and sometimes different nations work together.

For those who do not want to communicate with the enemy, you can install the possibility to switch it off in options.

  • Ships end up running into shallows or sandbars while the player is doing something else
  • We all do other things while we're playing, whether it's work, playing other games, doing computer stuff, or making food/doing things around the house. The ships can keep sailing for a while, but when they hit some sandbar or shallows they stop and get stuck, and you don't realize it for minutes to hours. 
  • Make it such that when you hit shallows or an island, after 2-3 minutes the ship's bell will start ringing alerting you that you've run aground. That way there is less wasted time and less frustration, and people won't stay afk as long.

В чем проблема сделать схему раскраски, чтобы игрок сам выбирал из предложенных ему цветов  в данной части корпуса/паруса, как это было в другой известной онлайн игре про пиратов ,

Show heatmap over standard map by clicking on heat button - it'll let players know the regions where strong action (pvp attack/pvp sinking) takes place (yellow light action, orange medium action, red strong action).

  • Timer - 10 min
  • If ship has upgrades or cargo - wreck in OW with loot
  • once a day

Очень много времени уходит на перемещение и чтобы слиться приходиться искать непись и сдаваться, что тоже потеря времени, которая никому пользы не дает. А так хоть остов будет, который немного будет разнообразить OW и может кому повезет на лут.

Graphical suggestion:

The waves in the OW are much too big in my opinion.
Because of this, the ships rarely show a clear waterline, the small ones, like the Prince, or Niagara are even partly flooded.

I am also quite sure that it has an influence on the impression how big our ships look like.

Scale the waves down, or better, make it adjustable in the options. If the performance allows it.

Add OW dropped items that provide ship refits which give ships PB bonuses. 1-2 point max per item. Nations wont be so dependent on crafting ports and more people will sail in OW.

Introduce achievements and deeds including player kills, AI kills, ports visits and conquering, trades done, sailing mileage, cannon ball shot, battle surviving etc etc. 

Make some differences between achievements and deeds between nations and reward them all with cosmetic stuff, titles, ships, cannons, dublons, CM's etc.

Ability to get a upgrade to your ship, take it from blue to purple and purple to gold. (item craft dlc just able to do it)

whale hunting ( find whales like the wind icon then pop to a instence ) need whael boat food and oil loot, oil  is high demand trade goods

diving after lost cheasures

shut gunports while in port, mooring line with the ship tied to the harbor, fleet ships anchored just off the harbor so they are visible.

If its misleading i ment while in port, not in OW

Weekly events

On Peace server make elite ships higher BR for the purpose of the event.

On War server make elite ships higher BR for the purpose of the event and add even more BR for defeated players.

I would suggest implementing a kind of 'book chest', similar to the Money and upgrade chests. So you can take unlearned books with you (e.g. if you want to save them for an encyclopedia), without the necessity to haul them by ship.
