But for a small clan like the one i'm is hard to build up a fleet for PB, or trying to do something all together... the limit of six ship for npc mission is a little sad is not possible to make it dynamic? for many player join it add the same br and rate with a bonus to make it a lil more hard?  we are really planning to go into a suicide mission against a privateer fleet.

 

 

As long as you have access to first rates 2 of them are enough to deal with the Privateer fleets. If you don't have money for the mods take 5-8 ships with and the fleet will be easy to take

How about 3-4 hours timer. Not small but not too big. We can even make them cost some money and allow the defender to decide on the timezone.  I can deploy it just like that, will take a second. 

That was savage. Apply water to burn!

But yeah, 24 hour timers, all that has been tried. But not everybody was there I guess. I personally think the current system is the least bad one.

The smaller the timer the better, at least during the week.

If under the week because of work people don't have time. Why not even have rvr only on weekends?

Sometimes a back step is a step forward.  After you see the wars. All are over due 2 weeks. Low morale. Low time limits etc. It was just a try.   Let's just test things before moaning. For God sake

Devs stated year ago maybe, that while we are comparing the game with eve and wish it would have those numbers,

devs comparing naval action to games, that are played by ca. 300 people.

There will be no screening of course. Nobody sane will not use the item. Everybody will use the item. Because we want good port battles. Not suicide squads losing ships stopping PB fleets. Screen during hostility and then you can suicide as much as you want.

I know, I'm a bit late to the party, but may I ask then:
By cutting screening you also cut content for Frigate-Play, especially Heavy-Frigate players.

Now, I understand that you want to promote PvP and not griefing, which is fine and you do this by guaranteeing the PB-PvP.

Wouldn't it be then a good idea to have, additionally to the PB, creating a kind of PvP-Zone around the port for the two nations? That zone being open from the time the Flag is placed up to the Server-Restart after the PB took place and interacts with the PB in regards if the Port is flipped or not.

In that way you encourage to stay and fight to keep the port and you open up content for all kind of rates depending on implemantion.

I would be grateful if you would think about such a mechanic.

As of now the Swedish - British war brought some great screening battles so far, and neither side has used the teleport function yet (idk if its in game yet). I do hope they really make the price really really high for the teleport function or add some disadvantage to using it (like not being able to teleport a full PB fleet or anything). 
To me screening is like some sort of PZ, where you go out in a fleet and expect to get into a big battle and get sunk.

According to previous posts by @admin

  • It is not yet in game on the war server.
  • It will be very expensive
  • All the PB fleet can be transported, in a maximum of 2 groups.

The description made in the User Guide is still valid.
