Main gun not firing

So I was in the Undefended Convoy mission, and auto-designed a battleship. However, the main gun in the middle of the ship did not rotate, elevate, or fire for the entire game. Has anyone else experienced this?

Known issue, from previous versions of the game. Thank you for reporting. This will be fixed in the next update.

Good to know, had a battle where the enemy ships just stopped firing about 2/3s the way through the battle until the end of the battle.  Helped me win when I should have lost.
