Game Freezes Randomly

I am currently running on a 16g ram i5 quad core cpu  gtx 1080 computer and every time I play naval action it is fine for a few seconds and then freezes , ive only had any play time for the game once i reduced the graphics settings to almost nothing. but even then I still get freezes , things I have tried include reinstalling GPU drivers (cleanly)  installing the game both on a hard drive and a solid state drive, deleting the registry for the game and deleting the appdata for this game, ive even tried to run it with only one monitor turned on.

Greetings, could you please try to monitor CPU and GPU temperatures during the game ?

I am attempting to run the game for a while, I am able to play the game at much smaller resolutions sub 1920x1080 p for longer periods of time oddly enough but only while I have the graphics set to medium at highest.

 

here are my results after about an hour of low resolution and medium graphic play... please note that if I attempt any graphics setting higher or increase the resolution of the game it will freeze on me. so far normal system tempurature and i am not seeing any throttling on my cpu

Can you please clarify if you overclocked either CPU or GPU?

Currently my gpu and cpu are set to default factory settings so they are not currently overclocked
