Captains,

Due to sudden and unexpected water drop too many ships were lost. Servers will be stopped for roll back.
All losses will be automatically recovered. Some gift will be provided.

Apologies for the inconvenience

HMS Implacable (rare 5/5) will be provided to everyone as compensation. You will have 2 days to claim it.

an hour and a half for nothing....but gifts will help my lose in time....Thank-you for the 5 minute warning

The timing of warning does not matter for server rollbacks  - they go back in time. So it does not matter if you dont save your game or exit safely.

WHAT?! we are in the middle of a Port Battle

If the port battle was happening now  - it will be rescheduled and will happen at the same time the next day.

Let the whole server suffer because of your port battle? riiight.

Too many ships were lost, it would be a huge mess for everyone without roll back.
Its just like a groundhog but even better now.

We entered the battle. all of us. 5 minutes in battle we got the notification that server was going down.

Does not matter. server goes down for roll back. you wont lose anything.

Yey implacable, what exactly do they mean by "water drop" though?

Players spawned in the air and the ship falls down upside down. :D Instant loss of the ship.

hmmm
interesting thought. Will consider it.

I appreciate the answer and hopefully see Diana soon, hopefully some other Spanish ship arrives in the future, ship of rank 1 dlc? Santa Ana ship (1784)

Santa Ana ship has a very interesting history,  of the few ships that survived Trafalgar in a miraculous way

regards
