Steam Early Access when?

I purchased a Captain's edition several months ago, which gives me access to EA on Steam but I find myself increasingly itching to play!

Is there a date for the steam early access release - should I wait for this, or is it worth me paying for upgrade to Commodore to get playing now?

Its not worth it yet. The game still has some serious problems. I would wait a little

Most likely the game is set to release for steam next week. Though I could be soon and actually still a few weeks out. Pretty soon tm is the best answer

Any devs willing to comment on Steam release date?

As soon a stable version of the game received then the game will be released on Steam. We have few blockers now that must be fixed.

So could be days, could be weeks, could be months?

We are happy to release today but still have blockers. We can not estimate when they are fixed because fixing an issue can create another issue.
