Game will not start

After launcher opens, I click the play button but the game does not launch.  Play button switches to say "In Game" but no game instance is running or will open up.  I looked through task manager and couldn't find one and I also cannot close the launcher because it will not allow me to do so while it thinks the game is running.  The only way to close the launcher is to restart my computer.  I also tried the repair option in the drop down menu above the "play" button and that did not help. I'm going to try a fresh install if I can and see if that helps.

Yes problem still persists.  I used a fresh install and it worked last night.  I just attempted to play tonight and it is again not working.

Once you stuck with “in game” status, could you please find in the task manager any process named as “launcher” and end it than restart the launcher

I believe I was able to fix the problem by running the launcher as an administrator.  It's launched the game 3 times in a row with this method.  Also managed to get the launcher to close by going to the details tab on the task manager and force closing the launcher that way.
