I may be dreaming but i hope that reputation or progress is somehow based on accomplishing mission and not just damage,kill or capture.

I have a vision of multi tiered mission for fleet/guild.

Exemple if a commander decide to attack a port he would an objective set and a starting point. He could decide the number an type of ships and the system would automatically set the supply needed. One this is set some missions would be available to captains;

-get ship to the starting point to form the fleet

-merchant could pick supply mission to starting point

-maybe an optional scout mission to the target port.

-etc

Once to sub missions completed the commander could launch the fleet for the attack....

I would like to see a system in game where you feel you bring something to the big picture and grt rewarded...
