Another overlooked issue caused by the massive income from trade is that very few people now want to bother selling things like repairs and canons. Since you can make very easy money with trade, there's little point in making the much greater effort of manufacturing anything for income.

I actually disagree.

You still have to move the repairs to a port that has activity. Those players sailing out of a port still need to buy repairs.

There is still huge demand for repairs at certain areas and not enough making or selling repairs. please continue making and selling repairs gents. ❤️

Inflation is not really an issue in NA because the somple existence of more Reals in the game is not inflation. There is only inflation if people spend their Reals and because many econ players (the ones generating most Reals) are hoarders, the Reals are not being spent.

Most players/clans manufacture their own goods. Manufactured goods (like repairs and ships) are usually more useful than the Reals they would sell for on the market. Real wealth is in how many resources, ships, dubloons, permits, combat marks, and upgrades you have...not Reals.
