Crash/ reboot / task mamanger/game

Had a crash ,  rig rebootet..  open up  launcher  still says "ingame" and the game is already running under your account........ the game doesnt appear in my task manager, so i cant  end  the game that way.. and like in other games  waiting for the session to time out .. well   let's say  my time is spent better doing other stuff...

I just had this issue as well.  How long is the wait?  Any other way to fix besides waiting?

My crash was simply due to my laptop overheating.

I'm having a similar issue.  I open the launcher and click play.  The play button switches to "In Game" but the game doesn't actually open.  I looked in task manager and can't find the game running anywhere but the launcher seems to think it's running.  I also can't close the launcher even through task manager because the launcher can't be closed while the game is open.
