Final Exam ship frame and trim

I find out every time the ships that system give to you and your enemy are different in frame and trim.
so it could be very easy to win or very hard to survive....

so my suggestion it to standardization the frame and trim in the Final Exam,
so the tutorial on the forum and other place could really help the newbie, or it just rely too much on luck.

When you attack ai, and you capture it. 

The captured ship gets a random frame and planking. 

No body can tell me that bloody ai, which I had trouble penetrating, was actually fir/crewspace. 

So my guess ai uses better ships, after you sink or capture, woods are generated.

 I always hated this with the ELITE ships in OW too.  I just struggled to beat that AI and could hardly pen/damage him and than I get the note and open it and it's a freaking Cedar/crewspace or Fir/Oak or something stupid like that.   Maybe make the ELITE notes drop like other notes where you can pick the wood type and just get random shipbuilding stats added or they should all be reduce to the (S)eason woods only and not normal.

I also noticed this with normal AI too when grinding, they seem to all have base stats that you have to bring in something kinda tanky to fight or you melt fast.

 

Another note for the final exams, is the rank changes on the AI.  I noticed that the higher the rank the more smarter the moves the AI do or I'm just imagine things but other clan mates noticed this too.

I dunno, I've done the final exam a half a dozen times over the past couple of months (don't ask), and the AI seems to always behave in a substantially similar manner.

I don't think the AI ships reroll their composition after they are sunk or captured. 

I think they recently changed ship notes to allow you to select wood types and trim (have not tested it myself). They used to randomly generate a ship composition before (like elite notes).

If you are having difficulty beating the final exam then look up some methods on youtube. As a new player with little to no experience it is almost impossible to beat the final exam.
