Problems with MS Visual C++ on Install

NEVERMIND: Once I cancelled out the C++ attempt to repair (yet again), the install process started up just fine and the game installed (at least so far) without a hitch.

 

Just bought the game and during installation it installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x64) - 14.16.27029. After reboot and installation attempt it needed to "repair" said C++. Now that I've tried it a couple times with the same result I'm kinda stuck.
I am not a "computer guy" so if you need information on my setup please also tell me where to find said information.

Admiral, could you please confirm that the problem is solved and this forum topic can be closed?

 I had the same issue, it keep wanting to update/repair my C++ and reboot the computer, but once I clicked cancelled the game continued to update/install.
