I know people prefer empty battles over actual fought ones but nothing is more boring than being nightflipped or getting xmas flipped.

I could see this happening, everyone agrees to a truce and tries to enjoy a nice holiday. As Russia attacks and flips as much  as they can. I trust VSC about as far as I can throw a building.

Why stop RvR or PvP. I do not understand. Many players have more time on holidays... Well, some are not at home - but some are then more at home. I think this is not a problem.

people have these things called, families and generally over the festive season these people like to see their families instead of playing naval action, maybe? just a long shot though

Right now 65% seem to disagree.

Should holiday truce be declared?

I think because you asked the question you already know the answer :).

CKA tears always taste so very sweet.

Anyway, back when ports didn’t matter as much this wasn’t a huge deal. Now they do and it’s kinda f’d up folks could potentially lose a key port for the crime of enjoying a holiday.  Make Pax Xmas a thing.

Night King approved.

Have you ever experienced an angry woman? 🙂 At Christmas you can't just take a vacation from your family 🙂

I don't know about you guys, but if i sit next to my wife and kids doing a port battle on my laptop i am pretty sure they think i might aswell sit in dark basement on my own, either way i am not there.

Stopping RVR should be a rule on some special times, being announced earlier.

This is ideal: it allows choice.

There will be no port/clan losses to choose RL holiday activiities, and players with free time can still enjoy PvP.

I don't see why it requires an entire week?  Disallow hostility missions on the 24th and 30th... Protects the two actual holidays while otherwise letting everyone have fun if they have extra down time?

Not all family events are isolated to Christmas day and New Years day.  There are happy festivities that people enjoy with their loved ones throughout the entire holiday week.  Lots of players will find some time to have fun gaming during this week (without port battles,) and still socialize in real life.

The key point is that if there are no port battles we have a choice.  Still fun.

even more reason not to stop it? maybe eventually people will figure out how asinine that gameplay actually is? 😂
