It was the pretty commonly held belief that loki runes put you into open world battles, not mission battles, but I've heard multiple reports today of them popping up in kill missions and hostility missions?   

@admin is this the case?   Is it a change from when they were first introduced?   Either way, I'm not a fan, personally.   

 

Kill missions drop garbage loot, but are safer and more predictable because nobody can jump in.  That makes them a great tool for newer players.  If higher level players are using them too much and thus not available to be ganked enough to satisfy whatever objective we're working towards here(and I DON'T know a lot of high level players who are running missions day after day, but who knows... maybe they exist)...  adjust the XP numbers and/or remove the 1st and 2nd rate 1v1 kill missions, or don't let them respawn infinitely.   You guys seem to feel that making the game less miserable for new players during their first few days would be good for the health of the player population (and I agree with you!) so let's not make the kill missions any more frustrating for them.   

 

Hostility missions carry their own risks already - with the possibility of winding up in a 10v20 if the enemy spots you and responds.   The possibility of someone being able to loki in and run away to make sure you're all stuck in battle until their friends can get there adds nothing but bullshit to these missions.   Perhaps LOKI runes in general need to require the loki player to stay within a certain distance of an enemy player, or be booted out of the loki experience?   That would prevent the nonsense of people loki'ing in and running away in open world, just to waste your time, ,too.  But in general, they shouldn't exist in any kind of 'mission.'  Leave them to open world.

Loki needs some adjustment. Some players simply run, which should be somehow limited, sometimes the player takes a elite ai, which is then usually not that much elite anymore, or you are put in a half sunk vessel, so there is no fun for the Loki player.

If we want to keep Loki, there should be fair fights for both sides.

A player fighting twice his BR should not be jumped by Loki. 

A player using Loki should at least have a ship with not more 1/4 damage.

  It's unfair that Loki Runes are used in Capital zones where Newbie expect to fight an AI.   Veteran enemies can easily defeat a Newbie, and often win against experienced players expecting NPCs.   Using Loki's in the protected capital zones is nasty.  It is just mean spirited and very unsportsmanlike.

What bothers me is how a Loki will sail way off into the sunset so you cant finish a mission or jump into a boat and escape. More so when they take a skull ship from you like this.

I have tried Loki around ten times. and only once was not in a position of sinking or being near sinking when I popped in. The Loki system needs some tweaking. It is frustrating for players who have a Loki take over the ai ship they are fighting, and it is pointless to use a Loki when all you get is horrid situations. Just saying.

Поддерживаю:

- не должно быть заброса по Локи в миссии, столичные зоны, хостилки

- не должно быть заброса по Локи в бой с подавляющим преимуществом по БР

- корабль, на который попадаешь по Локи, не должен быть без мачт, без половины порванных парусов, без половины борта, без половины экипажа

Столичные флоты не должны игнорировать шебеки - они и так могут уйти против ветра, а их охота на новичков в столичных водах неспортивна. Шебека имеет большой экипаж для 6 рейта и ее БР не должен быть меньше БР Геркулеса и Пандоры.

А за выигранные бои за Локи теперь нет наград?

Если награды дают только против Локи-игроков, то это несправедливо.

I have heard the world is flat - its all over the internet :)
 Please provide the proof next time - otherwise you could be just wasting other people's time in vain repeating rumours and incorrect information. Solo and fleet agent Missions do not have invasions. and never had.  Hostility are not missions those are risky activities.
