erelkivtuadrater Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 (edited) strange how the diana is as rare as the 1st rates should've been, it would actually been a wow factor when we would have seen one Edited November 11, 2019 by erelkivtuadrater 3
Reorx Redbeard Posted November 11, 2019 Author Posted November 11, 2019 if the make it crafteable, then please make it a non permit ship or at least make the permit buyable 1
Tortue Agile Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 permit ships are not good for the game. 1

If all ships didnt require permits there would just be meta sailing with the heaviest ships and there would be no diversity. You can already see that with the trinc, there is literally no reason to sail any other frigate, the only time time people sail any other frigate is because they feel obliged to so it doesent rot in the port. i think the devs played it poorly when they chose what ships to need permits and what not, i personally dont think and its not healthy for the game that you can pump out l'oceans with so little effort, the 2nd and 1st rates in NA should be the legendarys for the game, not the meta. Hopefully the BR will fix some of that, but i still think that 2nd and 1st rates should cost alot more in resources

That is good for the players and therefore for the game. Everyone CAN already build the ship they, just need to get the permit for it. It's not that hard. If it's a bit harder to get, it can give players a goal to strive for. Ships are already super easy to craft. A permit you can buy from Admiralty would probably make sense for it. You can pvp and sell combat marks for permits or VM. In ANY game that i've played aswell as ALL sandbox games i've played there is no other game that has such easy access for the best "gear" (if you can call it) available.
Galvez88 Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 the prettiest ship in the game without so much color,

But a bunch of 5 and 4th rate require one which in my opinion is reducing greatly the choices we make when going to sea. I never liked the Trinc but thank to dev I had to use it. I do have now a few indefatigable (my favorite ex-5th rate) but since it does require a permit I can't have the best one I use whatever I can get. In my opinion having some ships requiring permit and doubloon to build them is an over kill. At the most it should be a doubloon only requirement. Also, I mainly talk about ships requirement permits you can only get by random drop... I also don't like the admiralty permits but that's an other story. Edited November 11, 2019 by Tortue Agile
