goduranus Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 (edited) Sometimes you have a superior navy, and your ships will mostly be chasing the enemy around(Britian), engaging them with your forward turrets and taking hits on the forward extended armor. Other navies are inferior navy(France/Germany), and more hits will come from behind. So, it would make sense for some navies to put more armor on the front, and others to put more armor on the back. Also, doing this will help redistribute weight balance. Although, honestly it will probably make weight balance more problematic as you would put more armor in the same place where you have more turrets. Edited November 2, 2019 by goduranus 1
Guest Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 I mentioned this before in my fleet review a while back and totally agree.
Illya von Einzbern Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 I like the idea. You could technically us this to balance ships offset a bit. Also crossing the T makes more sens with heavily bow armored ships with 3x forward firing guns ^^
