NPC Port Battles on Non-Capital Ports?

Hope this is the right place for this question, but I'm a little curious if the NPCs attacking the non-capital ports is supposed to be happening.

There is a rather large list of them for today, most of which are non-capitals.  I thought the NPCs were only going to attack the 3 "most producing" ports of the top nations randomly during the weekends.  Or something like that.

Not only are the NPCs attacking the ancillary ports, but they are raising the port BR to levels from 10k BR to 18k BR, which is well...a problem and might not be able to be defended by that particular clan.  

We're also still within this testing first week correct?

Amount of current raids is related to the testing week indeed. Also please take into consideration that there were crashed raid battles and prolonged maintenance - all raid battles within that time were rescheduled as well.

Once the testing and tune week is done (no exact ETA yet) amount of battles will be optimized, we will keep you updated.

How is the tuning going ?

Because at the moment, it's impossible to win against NPC Raiders, none of those port battles were won  by players as far as I know.

Because noone cares now
And if You get 5 people to defend it, no wonder all are lost.

But when we go serious next time, it shouldn't be that of a problem if AI is that dumb stupid, like seen in the practice battle.

So you didn't even tried ? Russians tried with full BR and good ships, several times  You can already consider your raided ports lost.

As it is, it's not even a port battle:

AI ships enter and rush the circles.
If you have the luck to be on their path (and this will be a BIG deal), you can shoot and destroy some of them (still going straight to the circles) but you don't gain points, ever (Admin can clarify this)
They reach the circle and gain a lot of points.
Even if you destroy them in circles, they gain so much point that you're screwed.
You lost, port is now neutral and you have to rebuild investments.

 

I can understand the reason of such NPC Raiders Port Battles, but if we have no chance to win, then it's pointless, ports can just be set to neutral randomly and investments destroyed.
