raff Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 Hi, an idea could be to be able to split the fleet while in open world and give it some basic orders as “stay here”, “go to” etc. it would basically become a temporary npc, while you can possibly enter an enemy port with your traders ships leaving the warships behind. what do you think about it? im quite new to NA so I may be missing something 1
Macjimm Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 This would be exciting idea. It's been suggested, ... sort of. Suggestions like: Allow ships to sail as AI. Send them on trade/delivery trips. Include waypoints, be able to vary speed and allow players to retake control during the voyage. The Devs have said they will not allow players to send fleet ships as NPCs because the risk of sinking or capture is too high, players will be upset. Also I think that these mechanics would be too complicated for the game: there is only so much horsepower.

r6751 Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 I haven't been able to find out how to launch fleet ships to sea!! Players are asking info on using them, but I can't even get them to join me at sea from a port that I am in/launching from. HELP!
